After Saturday's 4-2 defeat at the hands of Huddersfield, Terry Skiverton has reflected on yet another away defeat for the Glovers.

Speaking to Chris Spittles of BBC Radio Somerset, Skiverton has vowed to stick by his ambition to play football the 'right way': 

"It was stupid fundamental errors as well. Clearances ... allowing a 6'5" centre-half to turn you on the edge of the box is criminal. But listen, these things happen, and when things aren't going well for you, you start having the basics going wrong. So we'll go back to basics, but we believe in the way that we're trying to pass it and the way we're trying to play with the players that we have got. But we need a longer performance, and not just 45 minutes."

After producing a good first half performance, Skivo has pointed out it needs to be a complete performance:

"For me, it's just about the bravery to get on the ball. If things aren't going well, we've still got to be able to get on the ball. To have such a good performance in the first half, but to then ruin it in the second half was really hard to take for the boys. But we'll pick ourselves up. We'll have a look at it on the video on Monday and we'll see where we go from there. We'll make sure that we learn from these performances. 

It's that thing where I'm saying that we're not that far off from being a very good League One side. But if we just keep on conceding goals like that, and folding, then we're never going to be in a good position, where we want to be. We want to be in that top half of the table, and in 10th and upwards and not languishing down at the bottom without going on runs. We've got a difficult month, but we're looking forward to it. We've got to dust ourselves down and make sure that we learn from everything we do. "
