Yeovil travel up to Tranmere for their mid week match.

The Glovers look to re-energise their away form after collecting only one win away from Huish Park coming back in October away at Bristol Rovers.

Back in August goals from Gavin Tomlin and Dean Bowditch made it a nearly perfect day for yeovil. The day however being marred by the shoulder injury inflicted on Bowditch who only returned to action recently.

Since then Tranmere have parted with managing duo John Barnes and Jason McAteer and found some better form under their physio Les Parry who has led them to just one league defeat in seven games.

Tranmere despite still lying in the relegation zone are now only three points from safety and are unlucky to not be in the fourth round of the FA Cup after a narrow defeat at the hands of Premiership outfit Wolves.

Tranmere have Bas Savage still ruled out through injury but Alan Mahon has returned from injury and is contention for a recall.

Yeovil's only injury worries come from Ryan Mason and Gavin Tomlin. Tomlin missed the home game to Exeter completely whilst Ryan Mason limped off with a thigh injury. Keiran Murtagh is ready to step in after an impressive performance off the bench last Saturday. 

Manager Terry Skiverton has said: "Tranmere have been putting in some very good performances at home and they're very difficult to beat."

"Their front three are very lively and if you give Paul McLaren time and space on the ball he'll pick out passes all over the shop."

"They've got five or six very, very good League One players so we're going to have to stand up to that and if we need to ride our luck again we'll do that."
