With changes galore, Yeovil travelled to Stadium:MK looking to put behind them some recent poor performances...

After a poor performance on Tuesday night, manager Terry Skiverton made five changes to the starting line up adding more of an attacking look to the side. Nathan Smith, JP Kalala, Dean Bowditch, Gavin Tomlin and Sam Williams all came in for Danny Hutchins, George O'Callaghan, Andy Welsh, Scott Murray and Jon Obika respectively. 

With just 33 seconds played Skiverton's changes were proven when Ryan Mason played through Dean Bowditch who magnificently stayed onside to slot emphatically past Willy Gueret to give the Glovers a marvellous lead. 0-1.

Before some people had even taken to their seats, another goal went in, this time falling the Dons way when Sam Baldock latched onto a Aaron Wilbraham through ball to slot past McCarthy to equalise. 1-1.

As the game finally settled it became evident that Yeovil had reverted to a 4-4-2 formation with Bowditch partnering Sam Williams up front.

The added attacking vision further paid off after some good work from Tomlin led to Shaun MacDonald cleverly shooting past Gueret despite the presence of a Dons defender, regaining the advantage for the Glovers. 1-2.

with 21 minutes played, a moment of controversy arrived when Dean Bowditch found himself clean on goal before being synically felled by David McCracken. The foul deserved a red card but referee Tierney produced only a yellow.

From the resulting free-kick right  on the edge of the box, (arguably a penalty)  Ryan Mason shot just wide via a deflection.

MK Dons had previously drawn just one game at home and pressed the Glovers with Andy Powell heading over a from a Jason Puncheon free-kick.

As the half time break approached, it became evident that both sides looked potent going forward, but vulnerable at the back. 

Half Time: MK Dons 1-2 Yeovil Town

After a much improved performance, Yeovil began the second half with a very defensive stance hoping to contain MK Dons and catch them on the break.

On the 54th minute the first notable chance of the half arose when the busy Luke Chadwick skipped past Steven Caulker only for the youngster to recover and tackle emphatically.

Just minutes after that, Chadwick again found space on the edge of the box but captain Craig Alcock tackled well before the midfielder could shoot.

As the 60th minute approached, a Jason Puncheon corner found Leven who looked on as his head rebounded off the bar much to the relief of the travelling Yeovil fans.

With Yeovil forced on the defensive, George O'Callaghan replaced attacking midfielder Ryan Mason. 

But their glee was short live when just 4 minutes later Terrell Forbes fouled Wilbraham in the box resulting in a penalty for the Dons.

Up stepped Leven who last season grabbed a brace against Yeovil to fire into the top corner of the net to return the game to deadlock. 2-2.

Just one minute after Leven's equaliser, George O'Callaghan nearly made an instant impact when his free-kick found Dean Bowditch who's flick shot flew just wide of the far post.

After grabbing a very early goal, Dean Bowditch was replaced by top scorer Jon Obika due to the striker's lack of match fitness after his lengthy shoulder injury.

As Yeovil battled to take away a point, combative midfielder JP Kalala was issued with his 8th yellow card of the campaign just two away from a two match ban.

With just minutes remaining, Yeovil nearly grabbed a win when Sam Williams found space in the box where the striker chose against a shot and found O'Callaghan who couldn't find the space to shoot.

Yeovil played out the last few minutes and take back a well deserved draw to Somerset after taking the lead twice at the Stadium:MK which was sure to satisfy the travelling Yeovil supporters. Terry Skiverton's changes were vindicated with a good, overall performance.
