Report:

Walsall put in a spirited performance to come back against Huddersfield in this Avon Insurance Division one game. Walsall came back from three goals down in the second half thanks to goals from youngsters Gary Birch and Darryl Taylor (son of Paul).

This fight back will provide Lee with some food for thought, because such spirit is lacking the first team. Darryl Taylor can play at  full back and with there being little cover in that position the youngster may be in line for a shock call up in the not to distant future with Walsall's left side failing to produce the goods.

The E&S match report was raving about young Taylor, while Gary Birch got on the score sheet, all in all a useful run out for Lee and the lads.
