Capello backs Ferguson as the greatest all time gaffer

By Jemma Tappenden

England boss Fabio Capello believes that Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson is the greatest manager "in the history of football".  His statement comes at a time when Ferguson is poised to become United's longest serving gaffer, surpassing the previous record held by the great Sir Matt Busby.

He has served United for 24 years, winning eleven Premiership titles and two European amongst his many trophies.

So what do you think?  Do you agree with the England boss that Alex Ferguson is the greatest manager of all time?

Not sure GOAT is the right label to be honest... I think that title should go to Sir Bobby Robson. Who may not have been as succesful but did a hell of a lot for football and showed he could do well at every level.

I wonder how SAF would cope if he was in Spain or on the international scene...

Throw enough sh-it at the wall and some of it will stick,
but make no mistake, Your wall's still covered in sh-it
