Contra And Moore A Doubt For Derby Game

"Big Dave" Darren Moore and Cosmin Contra are both rated as 50/50 for this weekends crunch game against Birmingham City. Moore missed Albions 1-0 defeat against Charlton and was expected to be passed fit this week. Bryan Robson will now have to decide on whether to stick with Riccardo Scimeca in the heart of defence, or play Thomas Gaardsoe or Martin Albrechsten.

Robson today said: "Darren has had a reaction from his knee injury,"

"We had hoped he would be okay in time but he's suffered another setback and I would have to say he's a huge doubt.

"That is a big blow to us because he's one of the players you need in a game like this.

"He and Darren Purse have built up a great understanding at the heart of the defence and we will keep our fingers crossed, but it's not looking too bright at the moment.

"We will see how is goes the next two days."

Romanian international Cosmin Contra has a slight groin strain and is rated 50/50.
