James Chambers Joins Watford

West Brom defender James Chambers has joined Watford in a £250,000 deal after impressing in a loan spell with the London club. Chambers has signed a 3-year-deal with the Hornets and will go straight into the side as they tackle Reading this saturday (25th September) Watford boss Ray Lewington said of the deal: "I made no secret of the fact we'd been keeping a close eye on James last season," said Lewington. "During his loan spell this year, he's already shown what he can bring to this club.

"He's a player we've watched for a while and I'm delighted that he's going to be with us full-time.

"He'll add quality and experience to our squad and you can't have enough of that."
