West Brom boss Gary Megson has confirmed in the press that he has already held talks with Leicester City defender Riccardo Scimeca. Megson is believed to be a big admirer of the former Villa and Forest man Scimeca has been targeted by Megson to help the Baggies survive next season in the Premier League.
Albion could get a cut-priced deal for Scimeca as he has a clause in his contract which allows him to leave Leicester if they get relegated.

Scimeca was signed by Mickey Adams from Nottingham Forest in the summer on a Free Transfer and since then, Scimeca has been almost ever-present in the Foxes Premiership campaign after starting 28 League games and scoring 1 goal.

Meanwhile, Albion are also rumoured to be lining up a bid for Birmingham City striker Stern John after Assistant Manager Frank Burrows traveled to Ewood Park to watch Birmingham City's game against Blackburn Rovers.
Burrows may have been impressed as it was Stern John who scored a late equaliser to grab the Blues an away point.
