Moses deal slipping from Baggies' grasp?

West Brom's chances of landing Crystal Palace's Victor Moses seem to be decreasing as several other clubs appear to be ready to join the race for the youngster. Moses, who is a cert to leave Selhurst Park on Monday as the transfer deadline approaches, will be sacrificed by administrators at Palace as they look to raise the funds necessary to save the club.

Last week Albion lost their status as the only club to have a on the table bid for Moses as Nottingham Forest joined the race, seemingly with an identical bid of £1.5 million.

On Friday Newcastle United joined that race with a bid believed to be around the £2 million mark.  However, the premature completion of Paul Robinson's move to Bolton Wanderers leaves the Baggies £1.5 million better off than expected - so a raised bid from the Midlands club might not be out of the question.

But today in emerged that several Premiership clubs look set to join the race for Moses, with Stoke City, Wigan Athletic and West Ham all expressing an interest in the under 21 international.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that Manchester City may also be keeping a keen eye on the Palace youngster.
