Baggies leading scorer Roman Bednar looks set to return to action for Albion against West Ham a week today. Bednar, who missed the fixtures against Everton and Arsenal with a back injury is confident that he will be fully fit to participate in the next crucial game of Albion's survival campaign. The striker was injured whilst Tony Mowbray's side took part in a weeks training event in Spain.
But Bednar will have to convince Mowbray that he is worthy of a starting place, after loanee's Marc Antoine Fortune and Jay Simpson have established themselves in the first eleven.
But the 6 goal striker shouldn't have too much problem in convincing Mowbray of his worth. With time running out and goals drying up, Mowbray may well be relying on the fitness of Bednar to get them through.
