It’s half time at the Memorial Stadium and West Brom fans around the country will be keeping everything crossed that they still have their noses in front at full time. Albion go into the break with a 2-1 lead, although heavy winds and dire pitch conditions have made for a nervy scrappy game so far in this FA Cup Quarter final.
Goals from James Morrison and Ishmael Miller saw the Baggies go in front by a clear two goals. But less than sixty seconds after scoring their second, Bristol Rovers had pulled a goal back. Some sloppy defending allowing Coles to tower above the Albion defence and head past Dean Kiely.
Earlier today Cardiff City knocked Premiership side Middlesbrough out of the Competition with a 2-0 victory, leaving Portsmouth as the only surviving Premiership side for the semi finals.
Victory at Bristol Rovers today will see Albion become the bookies second favourites to win the competition.
