On January past, the team went through a few matches without scoring a goal. Almost one year on and one new manager later, the team still seems toothless in front of goal. The club only has itself to blame. The recruitment of Morata and then Giroud to fill the hole vacated by the departed Costa has been far from successful. Then we have the affliction of three non-scoring midfielders. The seemingly inflexible Sarri needs to give the pacey Loftus-Cheek more starts and stop faffing about. There definitely needs to be a shake-up of the decaying first team, or else more results like the home setback against mid-table Leicester City will become more commonplace.
