You would have been given very attractive odds that any Chelsea player, let alone Ruben Loftus-Cheek, would record a hat trick of goals tonight. To everyone's pleasant surprise, the talented RLC did precisely that. It was all the more remarkable given the fact that he is goal shy all too often. Regrettably, not one of his team mates could add to his early double. With this trio of goals in one outing, Ruben has already elevated himself to equal second on Chelsea's highest scorers this season. He's already got three more than the tediously misfiring duo of No Goals Giroud and Kovacic. Few people in the Chelsea set-up seem able to score. Take the flying Hazard out of the equation, and one shudders to think who would be our source of goals. Still, RLC has made a compelling case for lots more game time in the first eleven. He looks to be one of the few Chelsea players likely to score a goal, which renders him a precious commodity.
