Despite a striker crisis, Newcastle United have offloaded Spaniard Xisco on loan to Racing Santander for the season, despite the fact he is said to be suffering from a groin injury. The striker who cost Newcastle £5.7million last summer from Deportivo La Coruna but has failed to secure a place in the starting eleven, is the latest of a string of players to leave the club to cut the wage bill.
The deal for the 23 year old has been confirmed by Racing Santander on their official website pending a medical.
Maybe they have agreed to sign him next summer if he came on loan. But I agree if we are playing his wages or most of them then we might as well have kept him
