Tangerine-Planet.co.uk has tonight learned that a decision regarding the South Stand Saga WILL BE MADE between the end of the season and the start of next season by the club's director and there is a possibility that either a permanent or temporary stand will be constructed in time for next season.
Calls have been made for a new stand to be built for some years now and with the Seasiders selling out for most games these days the board of directors now feels it's time to do something about the whole South Stand Saga.
But chances are unless a pre-let is found between now and the end of the season then a permanent construction will not be built. However there is serious thought about erecting a temporary stand, as we suggested on both this site and in the Blackpool Gazette a fortnight ago.
The matter will probably be discussed at the end of season board meeting but one thing is for sure. As things stand, we will see a new stand permanent or more likely temporary constructed for next season.
