Tommorow see's the Seasiders take on Southampton at Bloomfield Road, in a game which both teams need three points for similar reasons. The Saints sit on 41 points a win would lift them closer to us and drag us back into the relegation scrap, especially if Sheffield Wednesday win on Saturday. Three points for the Seasiders would mean a play off fight is realistic.
So it's game which everyone will be hoping for win from however for me it has draw written all over it. I just don't see our players geeing themselves up for a bottom of the table nothing side. But hopefully with the possible return of Dickov everyone will receive a boost and well steam roller Southampton.
Jackson is still out injured so Gorkks and Evatt will play centre back. With Crainey and Barker taking up there usual battle positions. Hoolahan will play once again as should Southern. Personally I think that if Dickov fails to return from his injury the team will remain unchanged. It'll be interesting to see if Gary Taylor-Fletcher's recent run of form continues, he really has silenced the boo boys recently.
Southampton are on there backside with several players out although Michael Poke may play. Kelvin Davis is a doubt whilst Ian Pearce and Darren Powell will also sit out injured. Some good news for the seasiders faithful is that hotshot while Inigo Idiakez is out.
So a very much weakend Southampton but Blackpool and there fans shouldn't sit back and expect an easy win. No word on how many of the saint faithful will be travelling but it should be a nearfull Blackpool end. All in all it should be a decent game which Blackpool are well and truley capable of winning, but Southampton are no mugs and will take some beating.
Talk about the game on our forum!
