Liverpool youngsters David Raven and Zak Whitbread have put pen to paper on a new deal this week which will keep them at Liverpool. David Raven and Zak Whitbread have both enjoyed their chance to show their talent in a good run in the Carling cup. Benitez has given Liverpool's young stars an opportunity to get some first tean experiencein the Carling cup this season.

They have done brilliantly by getting to the semi-finals but they will be most proud of their win over Tottenham's first team.

Raven and Whitbread have both been outstanding and we are very lucky to have these players for the future.
