Henderson has incredible attitude - Rodgers

Brendon Rodgers says Jordan Henderson, though young, is a very good footballer and has a fantastic attitude.  He hopes to see him progress as part of his Liverpool side, and believes he has the attributes to do so.

Rodgers said:

"I look at the young kid Jordan Henderson who got a wee bit of stick last year, but do you know what? This is a boy who is 21 years of age.

"I thought when I first saw him at Sunderland that this kid is going to be a really good player.

"He's then coming here for a bucket load of money, coming to a massive club, massive expectation. He moves away from home, he is on his own and he has to be a world-beater straight away.

"It was never going to happen. But this kid can play football. He has got an incredible attitude."

I think Rodgers will bring out the best in Jordo. Hopefully he can give the lad a bit of confidence, so he can start living up to his potential. Hopefully I'll be writing a rave about Jordo on my own LFC site.

Welcome jeeps ,as you may well notice bit quiet on here at the mo but should pick up again soon . Weve always backed the lad ,i despair of the attiude of some of our fanbase now. Kids like this have to be given time and patience by the bucketfull. Hes got everything in his locker except at times the belief in his own ability. Dont think Kenny done him anyfavours at times last year ,not so much as playing out of position but not taking him out of the firing line when you could see his head had dropped . Said it from the start the lads a diamond, will eventually be money well spent .
