Liverpool Football Club will be asked by the premier league will they be able to guarantee the completion of next seasons fixtures due to the horrendous accounts published last week. These accounts are based on a good year, second place finish and a good run in the champions league. You can imagine what next seasons will reflect. Our owners have dragged the club to the edge of the abyss and now, with no question of doubt, pushed LFC over the edge. The massive loans have sucked the life blood out of the club. The club pays over £100, 000 a day in interest. Over £55, 000 has up till now been spent on a new stadium that exists only on paper. Their ownership has been based on lies and the ability to place blame elsewhere.
Time now for fans to realise the media campaign against Rafa has been fed by the owners. Our manager has been fighting our cause behind the scenes against the owners from day one of their arrival. He now looks drained and thoroughly exhausted, who could blame him if he leaves?
The arrival of Broughton now looks like another stunt to buy the owners more time for themselves, not for the club. This time next year there's a very good chance we will be in administration.
Time to fight, time to boycott, time to join SOS .

I agree with your sentiments about the owners or muppets.
However i dont agree with your statement about Rafa fighting our cause. Especially after the supposed comments from our captain about the manager. Rafa has only been in it for himself, he has continually undermined players and supporters. Like the owners he is far from the traditions of the football club. If you look at the accounts you can assume that the only reason (as reporetd at the time also) we were sold to teh yanks by Moores & Parry was bacuse they'd make a few million extra. Our problems go back to the days or Parry & Moores. Thye kept us stick in the past and sold us onto to make millions they already have.

What nonsense! Of course the club won't be in administration - it's too valuable as a brand and will be snapped up by some billionaire. Nor is Broughton a Hicks-Gillett stooge. On the contrary he was an appointee of the banks holding the purse-strings. A buyer will be found and for a price considerably below what the Yanks are asking - how much depends on the terms of the bridging loan and how much time the pair have to raise the next repayment. It's also unlikely the club would press for a fire sale of top players before seeing what response they get to touting LFC around billionaires: the players constitute a key asset. Whether the sale happens in time to make plans for next season or prevent and exodus of players depends on how much clout Broughton has to force a sale to pay off the banks rather than profit Hicks-Gillett. And none of us know whether Rafa's been "fighting our cause" or has in fact lost the confidence of the team, so stop romanticising things. LFC will survive, albeit with deep cracks that will take a few years to repair. If you'd been around for a few decades instead of a few years you'd put it in perspective: there was a time when we were second division! The real issue is whether fans are going to carry on putting up with this @#$%& from owners (and some players) rather than organising for some real control, as European fans have done in the past.
