The wolf pack that is this countries football press community have had a field day with LFC over the past few weeks. Like ravenous hyenas they have been prowling around our club scenting a club with financial woes. Now, as ever, why should the gentlemen of the press let the truth get in the way of a good story?
So, according to them we are about to lose Reina, Arbeloa, Maschcereno, Alonso and Torres. No wonder some fans sound suicidal.
Problems we may have at boardroom level, but the press are full of it. Some just have it in for Rafa and have agendas to cause trouble.
Wouldn't believe a word of any of it until it actually happens.
If I was a betting man, with the exception of Arbeloa, I'd say no ones going anywhere.
The worst out the lot is the Manchester Utd Mirror.
Can somebody tell me who David Maddocks supports, because he always slags Liverpool off & fabricates scare stories on a daily basis.
Why aren't ALL of the press going on about how much weaker United will be now that they've lost two crucial players?
Why aren't their finances discussed in a negative light?

“Liverpool Football club exists not to make money, it exists to win trophies and be a source of pride for its supporters. It serves no other purpose.”. Bill Shankly
Yes, it can no longer be denied that the press have an anti-Liverpool bias, especially on the internet, simply because they know LFC fans flock to LFC news stories. Yesterday morning I read a couple of articles relating to the Johnson deal, headlines along the lines of 'Reds sign Johnson'. Later in the day, the headlines were 'Rafa defends Johnson fee', and when I read the article, it was exactly the same, just with a more negative slant in the headline! It happens time and time again, the headlines change to more worryingly worded headlines.. but the content remains identical.. doubling their hit rate. Plus, there seems to me to be a good many journalists putting their name to articles that are 100% identically worded to the other sources.. are these people getting paid to copy and paste? It's disgusting.
Besides, if 17 million is suddenly expensive for an England player.. can someone explain why Man Ure are imune from criticism for having spent 120 million on Hargreaves, Carrick, Rooney and Ferdinand? Think we got a bargain by comparison!
Spot on lad. They smell blood, although it's always been the same with regards to LFC, and the internet allows them do it on a much wider scale. At least in the past we could just not buy a paper.

What do we need to do to get the likes of Maddocks, Bascombe and Beglin banned from Anfield. Especially Bascombe, the years he spent sucking up to Liverpool in the Echo. Now that he's Rob Beasley's biatch, he only ever comes out with negative cr@p about the Reds!!.
