After months and months of paper speculation Wolves today completed the transfer of former England midfielder Paul Ince. The news will be of great relief to Wolves who have finally got their man after months of waiting... Its a done deal! We were all laughing when the rumours came out about Ince joining Wolves. And when they come out of papers like The Sun etc they don't always offer themselves as believable.

But in the past few weeks reports, a lot more reliable, we're coming out of Molineux that Ince could be on his way.

To the majority of Wolves fans Ince was a Wolves player last week. The press and Ince's agent were plugging that Ince was set to sign, and all was neede was to finalise the small matters in the contract.

Ince who had long spells with Man Utd, Liverpool, Inter Milan and Middlesborough has signed a one year deal with Wolves and will meet the players in his first training session later today.

Steve McClaren wanted to keep Boro's captain at the club for another year but Ince wanted to move for family reasons and has taken a reported £2 million a year pay cut to play for Wolves. This surely shows his willingness to help Wolves develop into a strong Premiership quality side and with youngsters like Andrews around him surely his presence will benefit Wolves for years to come.

Whether Ince will make his debut on Sunday against Bradford remains to be seen, he will no doubt be in the squad and wish him all the best at Molineux.
