WOLVES Captain Paul Ince rolled back the years on Friday night to score s stunning 88th minute winner against Luton Town at a windswept Molineux.

Wolves teenage star Mark Davis gave Wolves the lead in the second half following a Leon Clarke shot which was blocked in the 57th minute at Molineux on Friday night. The 17 year old prodded home from close range past Beresford for his first ever senior goal.

A mistake by Stefan Postma then let Howard head home from a Luton set piece ten minutes from time before Paul Ince rolled back the years by firing low past Beresford from 25 yards eight minutes later.

"We didn't start well and I told Paul Ince at half-time that I wanted to see more of the Incey of old, from his West Ham days, even if it meant we'd be carrying him off on a stretcher at the end of the game!" Hoddle said in his post match press conference.

"He has got the love of the game that makes him want to always be going out training and playing games, no matter how old he is. He brings determination to the side and today he showed that clinical edge I have been looking for."

After praising Ince the Wolves boss showed his delight at claiming three points over a fellow promotion rival. There have been plenty of games this season where we have deserved to win but then come away with a point, or less." Said Hoddle

"Today we have played not so well and got the win, and so maybe it was a little bit like payback, which is unfortunate for Mike (Newell - Luton boss) and his side."
