Brighton v Wolves - Match Preview

I'm bored. I'm bored with sitting down before each match and writing phrases that are beginning to wear thin. "Must Win" " No room for error." "3 points a must." I suspect many are just as bored reading them. 21 points from 16 games, where the bare minimum we need to have on the board by now is 32. Our total is not only nowhere near the right ballpark, its verging on a different sport.

Tonight many of us will make the annual journey to stand on a tiny, roof-less, windswept terrace. Should we not come away with a maximum haul, how many of them will continue to make the effort, and incur the expense that most are making very real personal sacrifices for?

Dissillusionment is setting in. On the emotional scale that is one above apathy, and if that sets in, we will be a club heading into crisis. If we arent already.

The Club, I say Club, as it IS a problem for the WHOLE Club, need to do something to restore the air of optomism that we ended last season with.

Results HAVE to improve. Signings NEED to be made, and nothing less than TOTAL COMMITMENT from the players will be good enough to keep fans, the lifeblood of the Club turning out every game.

We have some of the best supporters in this country, and it is heartbreaking to see the way that our faith is being dilluted week in week out.

Wolverhampton expects every man in Old Gold and Black to do their duty.
