Wolverhampton Wanderers entertain Preston North End in a must win tie for the Molineux men. 2 points from the last 12 at home means they are far from invinceable on their own turf,

This weekend Glen Hoddles Wolves entertain a Preston North End side without a win in their last 7 games.  Wolves stuttering start to the season has surprised many who tipped them for automatic promotion, but its a familiar story to the long suffering fans of the Black Country club.

Paul Ince, Jackie Macnamara and Matt Murray are still long term absentees from a squad reduced to 17 available men and despite fielding the divisions top scorer.and the inform Kenny Miller with 10 in all competitions, Wolves have  found goals hard to come by. Not for lack of trying though. They have also had more shots on goal than any other Championship side, but Glenn Hoddle is at pains to point out the responsibility for finding the net does not lie with his strikers alone.

"Carl is the top scorer in the league, and, if you add Kenny's goals up this season with Scotland he's on 10,..It's not just the strikers. We haven't scored a goal in the Championship from midfield. We've been close from set plays but we haven't finished." said the Wolves boss.

Preston will be without Brian O'neil and Eric Skora but Dickson Etuhu and Youl Mawene are both back in contention
