Wolves have today parted company with Club Doctor Dr Ackroyd. We believe the extended injury to Mark Kennedy may have influenced the clubs decision. Mark Kennedy was forced to miss the last few games of last season due to an injury to his groin however Wolves were given hope with the news that, with some rest, the winger would be fit for the start of the new season, however late last week we were told he would have to have an operation and will be out for the next few months at least.

Wolves` fans have suggested in the past that the medical team at Wolves have given the fans false hope and the Kennedy case is yet another case of the false hope we have been subjected to over the last few years.

The Kennedy case lead to an inquiry and subsequently Jez Moxey has announced the departure of the Doctor.

Wolves will be on the hunt for a new doctor but hope to have one installed for the start of the new season.

Wanderers Way has also recieved reports regarding the possibilty of Ex Rams Boss Colin Todd becomeing a new Assistant Manager however these reports cannot be confirmed at this time.
