Glenn Hoddle Looks Forward To Saturdays Match

Glenn Hoddle took time out from training today to focus on the job at hand on Saturday, and reflected on Wolves current 4th spot in the league.

Wolves sit 4th in THe Coca Cola Championship, and face league leaders Sheffield United on saturday in an intriguing clash that will attract interest up and down the division. Both teams are coming back from defeats, and both still have a lot to prove. In many Wolves fans eyes, anything outside the top 2 promotion places is unacceptable, but in a gruelling marathon, Hoddle believes being pacemaker isnt always the best option.

" I'm not sure I'd like to be top at the moment, it isnt the right time....come March , April, thats when the season comes alive, thats when you want to be up there."

Looking forward to Saturdays game, Hoddle gave every indication that he intends to send his side out hungry to kick on from their recent successes on the road, and questioned how The Blades result at Reading might effect them.

"It was their first loss of the season, and I think Neil Warnock is going to learn a lot about his squad.......We're going there to try and win,  not for any other reason. We're not going to try and nick a point, get a draw. ".

With a busy period ahead, 3 points on the road will be the ideal start  to reaching  that top slot come the end of April
