WOLVES boss Glenn Hoddle has described his sides performance against Stoke City as "magnificent" and has fired a warning to league leaders Sheffield United.

Hoddle claimed the 3-1 win away win over Stoke City was the best performance under his reign and sent a warning out to Championship leaders Sheffield United that Wolves are gradually finding their feet.

Wolves easily disposed of Stoke after some superb and devastating passing football. It was South Korean International Ki Hyeon Seol who twice cleverly worked his way past the City full back Broomes, twice crossed into the area and twice created Wolves goals.

The first goal came after huge spells of Wolves pressure. The South Korean crossed and up stepped Carl Cort from close range to top the Championship goal-scoring charts a few minutes before half time.

Minutes after the break and Wolves doubled their lead. Again Seol created the chance and this time it was headed home by Scottish International Kenny Miller.

Lee Naylor added a third on the 70th minute with a cracking 25 yard free kick before Stoke scored a late consolation deep into injury time.

"It was a magnificent performance by the boys. Stoke are a good footballing team and this is a difficult place to come, but we have played some tremendous stuff." Said Hoddle.

"It was the best display since I became manager and we will take some stopping if we continue in that vein."

Before leaving the post match press conference Hoddle added "We can't afford to let Sheffield United get too far ahead, but every team has a wobble and we've got to get ourselves in pole position to step in when they do."
