Many Wolves` fans feel the injury Mark Kennedy sustained against Grimsby last year was one of the factors playing against us as our season fell apart, unfortunatly for us, he` still injured. Dave Jones has spoken aloud today about the Injury Mark Kennedy has and pointed out that the winger will be out for several Months.

The fresh injury blow comes just weeks after the winger was told he was recovering well and it wouldn`t be long before he was back in the action.

Kennedy tore a groin muscle in the defeat at Molineux in the back end of last season and today it has been revealed that he will be out until September at the earliest.

It has also been revealed that the Republic Of Ireland international may need an operation on his groin.

Wolves` manager Dave Jones told Teamtalk "The problem just hasn't cleared up. We will discuss it with Mark before deciding on our next course of action but he will be out for a couple of months whether he has the operation or not."

On a brighter note, this may give a chance to Wolves` new boy Kevin Cooper who had impressed in both Play-Off games and the friendly at Morecambe before seeing red mist in the 5-1 defeat against European Giants Sporting Lisbon.
