Luton Town have made a request to Wolves Supporters travelling the game - and its a bizarre one. Officials from Luton would like Wolves fans to turn up wearing Hats to celebrate 100 years at Kenilworth Road on a day labelled as "Hatters Day". And we really are serious!

However "Hatters Day" won't be on the minds of players as Wolves aim to spoil the Kenilworth Party and continue their decent start to the season.

The facts from a Wolves perspective this season is that the football which has been played has been superb, Wolves have lost once (away at Leeds - despite having 24 shots at goal and dominating), won three times and drawn twice. The bigger picture shows that Wolves have lost just once in 26 games and twice in 36 games. The only drawback to the season is the lack of finishing in front of goal, but against QPR two weeks ago Carl Cort banged in a hat trick and a little fellow called Kenny Miller is on the verge of destroying a Championship side like he did Norway and Italy on International duty last week.

Wolves boss Glenn Hoddle however knows Saturday is going to be a real test for his players. "It's going to be a totally different environment and a tough place to go to," Hoddle told the clubs official website.

  "Mentally it is something that we have got to focus in on. It's not a big pitch and we aren't going to be able to roll the ball around like we have done at Molineux. But we have to go there and impose our game on them."

Wolves have three doubts. Darren Anderton and Mark Kennedy only trained on Friday and Kenny Miller is rated as 50/50 after picking up a knock against Norway mid-week.
