Chesterfield have finally got there man in Sammy Clingan who moves to Saltergate on a six month loan deal. New Page 1

Wolves midfielder Sammy Clingan has completed a six month loan move to Chesterfield today.

Clingan has been frustrated with the lack of chances under Glenn Hoddle ,and he's seen his chances evaporate further with the inclusion of Mark Davies to the Wolves first team squad.

The 21 year old Northern Ireland U21 international had a very happy loan spell at Saltergate last season and this could well be the last time we see Sammy at Molineux , Chesterfield have been after Clingan for a few months and had numerous bid turned down but this loan deal should satisfy all parties.

I expect Sammy to sign for Chesterfield permanently before his six month loan spell ends , because he's not going to get the chance at Wolves now I'm afraid.
