WOLVES boss Glenn Hoddle has admitted that he would love to sign a striker before the transfer window closes on Wednesday evening after his strikers once again fired blanks.

The Wolves boss is so furious that his strikers are failing to score goals that he wants to spend the majority of the money made by the Henri Camara sale on another striker, despite already having six.

Kenny Miller and Carl Cort have managed just one goal between them in five league games - that a deflected goal against Crystal Palace - whilst Seol has bagged just one and Leon Clarke scored his first goal of the season at Cardiff on Saturday.

In truth Hoddle is still waiting on the full fitness of George Ndah and Vio Ganea to see what they can provide, with the Romanian International scoring on his comeback appearance after a year out when he came on in the last few minutes against Chester City in mid-week, but the lack of goals is currently costing Wolves and Hoddle is determined to put it right.

Wolves had a staggering 31 shots at Cardiff Saturday and 21 shots at Leeds United the week before but from the combined 52 shots, scored just two goals with one coming from a centre half.

Speaking at his post match press conference a furious Hoddle admitted "We have six strikers here already but I would still love to sign another one if I could before the transfer window shuts on Wednesday"

With Wolves not spending a penny on transfer fee's so far this season a huge chunk of cash should be available but time is running out for Hoddle to get the man he wants.
