Wolves face a potential banana skin tonight as they face Keith Curle's Chester City at Molineux tonight in the Carling Cup.
Wolves boss Glenn Hoddle will give a debuts to new signing Darren Anderton and Stefan Postma , and will also give a full home debut to youngster Mark Davies as Wolves seek not to be shot down by League Two side Chester City.
Micheal Oakes will miss tonight's game with a shoulder injury he picked up at Leeds , so Stefan Postma who signed on loan from Aston Villa grabs his chance to impress , Lee Naylor also misses out with a stomach problem as Wolves injury bill mounts up.
Mark Kennedy faces a late fitness test and if he pulls through he will take Lee Naylor's position at left back.
It's vitally important Wolves use this fixture to get the winning habit back , in recent seasons this stage of the competition has seen Wolves fall flat on there faces and tonight we should not take things for granted , on the other hand a victory tonight by a handsome score line should bring the confidence back in the camp that was smacked out of them at Leeds at the weekend.
