WOLVES boss Glenn Hoddle has today confirmed that the chase for Derby County star Inigo Idiakez has ended forcing Wolves to move on to different targets. New Page 1

We exclusively revealed over the weekend how a final decision on Idiakez was to be made this week and today boss Glenn Hoddle admitted the chase is over.

"We weren't going to wait forever and we are in communication with other clubs about other potential targets anyway. We had to move on." Hoddle told the clubs official website.

"I rate the player highly and it is unfortunate, but we have to respect that Derby do not want to do business."

The Wolves boss admitted that bids for two Premiership players still stand with rumours indicating one could possibly be Birmingham City striker Clinton Morrison.

"We have expressed interest in other players and the bids that we have placed with Premiership clubs could fall into place quickly, or not materialize at all. But, there is nothing on the horizon set to happen immediately." Hoddle added.
