THE Wolverhampton Express and Star today reports that Wolves defender Joleon Lescott had rejected a contract offer from Wolves.
The Wolverhampton based newspaper today reports that sources close to Wolves defender Joleon Lescott claim the 22 year old has rejected a contract offer from Wolves.
Wolves Chief Executive today refused to comment on the speculation whilst the paper also reports that Lescott "wants to shelve further talks" whilst the defender concentrates on his football.
The news will come as a worry to Wolves supporters who fear that the former England U21 International will leave at the end of the season should Wolves fail in their attempt at Promotion, despite having another two years left on his current contract.
Lescott recently signed up to the huge Agent company SFX and it would suggest that it is they who have been a key factor in Lescotts decision.
