WOLVES Boss Glenn Hoddle has added a goalkeeper to his summer transfer list after a horror injury to former Southampton goalkeeper Paul Jones in todays City Of Discovery cup.

Play during Wolves 4-0 win over Dundee today was suspended for over seven minutes after Welsh International goalkeeper Paul Jones was injured after being caught in the face by Dundee Striker Tom McManus.

"Paul has fractured his cheekbone and will be out for possibly six to eight weeks which is very disappointing." Hoddle told the clubs official website.

"It was an accident, it was just an innocuous challenge. Paul had to come out of his goal, he went in with his feet in a 50-50 challenge with their striker and the lad's caught him on the temple and across the face.

  "Our feelings are with Paul - it's very disappointing and upsetting for him. We've now got to try and look to bring a keeper in and we've not had much luck in the transfer market as it is."

The Wolves boss, who is having a nightmare in the transfer window admitted that he had to sign a goalkeeper before the start of the season with only Michael Oakes being the one fit senior goalkeeper.

  "Carl Ikeme hasn't got enough experience yet if anything happens to Oaksie, and Matt (Murray) won't be ready for a few months so we've got to bring someone in."
