Wolves will set off to Portugal on Monday evening to face two of Portugals giants, Sporting Lisbon and Maritimo. WOW today officially announced and includes young Sammy Clingan.
The squad of 20 players is to include Sammy Clingan who impressed in Saturdays friendly against Kettering and also includes trialists Russell Howarth and Marc Edworthy.
Wolves will travell to Heathrow Airport on Monday afternoon and take an early flight to Portugal.
Mark Kennedy is sadly going to miss the Tour due to his injury. Speaking to the clubs official website manager Dave Jones said "Obviously we are disappointed that Mark won’t be making the trip but whilst we are away he will be seeking further medical advice on the problem."
The full list of players making the trip is: Nathan Blake, Paul Butler, Mohamed Camara, Colin Cameron, Sammy Clingan, Sean Connelly, Kevin Cooper, Marc Edworthy, Russell Howarth, Iver Ingimarsson, Joleon Lescott, Kenny Miller, Lee Naylor, George Ndah, Shaun Newton, Michael Oakes, Ludovic Pollet, Adam Proudlock, Alex Rae and Dean Sturridge.
