Brighton And Hove Albion

Last Season: 20th
One To Watch: Leon Knight
Play Wolves: (a) 1/11/05 (h) 22/04/06

Season Outlook: Struggled last season but stayed up by a single point on the final game of the season. Will be hoping to finish a little higher this term, but survival alone will be seen as success.

Burnley Town

Last Season: 13th
One To Watch:
Ade Akinbiyi
Play Wolves: (h) 1/10/05 (a) 14/02/06

Season Outlook: Finished comfortably mid-table last season, 13 points off the play-offs. Burnley will be looking to close the gap and may feel they have the quality to pinch a play-off spot.

Cardiff City

Last Season: 16th
One To Watch:
Jeff Whitley
Play Wolves: (h) 27/8/05 (a) 11/03/06

Season Outlook: Missed out on the play-offs by 19 points and are in selling-mode. Dave Jones has been instructed to reach the play-offs however it isn't going to happen.

Coventry City

Last Season: 19th
One To Watch:
Gary McSheffrey
Play Wolves: (a) 2/1/06 (h) 8/04/06

Season Outlook: Stayed up by just two points, despite a decent end to the season. Expect nothing more than a mid-table finish.

Crewe Alexandra

Last Season: 21st
One To Watch:
Michael Higdon
Play Wolves: (a) 27/9/05 (h) 11/02/06

Season Outlook: Stayed up last season by the skin of their teeth, just one goal to be precise. Survival again will be their main aim, expect a struggle from the Railway Men.

Crystal Palace

Last Season: n/a
One To Watch:
Andy Johnson
Play Wolves: (h) 9/8/05 (a) 10/12/06

Season Outlook: Relegated from the Premiership last season and probably deserved to stay up. If Johnson stays they will be there or there abouts, but either way a play-off spot should be theirs.

Derby County

Last Season: 4th
One To Watch:
Inigo Idiakez
Play Wolves: (h) 18/10/05 (a) 18/11/05

Season Outlook: Had an excellent season last term but went out to Preston in the play-offs. Will look for another play-off space this season but are expected to finish just outside the top six.

Hull City

Last Season: n/a
One To Watch:
Keith Andrews
Play Wolves: (h) 13/8/05 (a) 25/2/06

Season Outlook: Some fans may have play-off ambitions but Hull will be pleased with survival. They should achieve it too, but lower mid-table is all they can realistically hope for.

Ipswich Town

Last Season: 3rd
One To Watch:
Dean Bowditch
Play Wolves: (a) 3/12/05 (h) 18/2/06

Season Outlook: Came so close to promotion last term, but no longer have their top two goal scorers. Should have enough to mount a decent charge on the play-offs.

Leeds United

Last Season: 14th
One To Watch:
Rob Hulse
Play Wolves: (a) 20/8/05 (h) 17/12/05

Season Outlook: Signed plenty of players considering their debt and could have enough to challenge the play-off places. Will certainly look to better last seaasons 14th place finish.
