Pre-Season game with Celtic - Information

WE have been asked to confirm the details involving a pre-season game between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Celtic. New Page 1 New Page 2 New Page 1

The two sides were set to meet this summer as part of the deal which took Henri Camara on an, albeit unsuccessful, loan deal last summer.

However due to the SPL starting early because of the 2006 World Cup, the pre-season game this summer was put back to next summer.

The game will take place at Molineux.

Wolves have replaced the pre-season game with Celtic by confirming their attendance in a new Scottish Cup competition.

Wolves, Sheffield Wednesday, Dundee and Dundee United will all battle it out in the newly formed "City Of Discovery Cup" over the weekend of 23rd and 24th of July. All games will take place in Dundee.
