JACKIE McNamara signed for Wolves from Celtic today and we take a look at the man who has spent the whole of his career north of the border. New Page 1 New Page 2 New Page 1

*1991 McNamara started his career in 1991 with Dunfermline Athletic. He spent 5 years at the club, playing 79 times and scoring 3 times.

*1996 Joined Celtic for £1.5M where he played a key role in winning the league cup and Championship in 1998. He won another League Cup two years later.

*2001 McNamara moved from right-back to central midfield and won the title in his new position. He came on as a substitute during the Uefa Cup defeat by FC Porto.

*2003 McNamara had already played at right-back and centre midfield in his time at the club, but in 2003 he moved to a new position, left back. He had an excellent season, scoring the opening goal of the campaign which was to lead to winning the Scottish Cup.

*2005 McNamara rejected a contract from Celtic and signed on a free transfer for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
