WOLVES striker George Ndah has signed a new one year deal with Wolves, despite not appearing for Wolves since the first leg play-off win over Reading in May 2003.

The Wolves striker who has been out injured for over two-years has today signed a new one year performance related deal at Wolves.

Ndah signed a one-year deal last year and failed to play once but Wolves boss Glenn Hoddle has showed his faith in the quick forward by offering him another deal.

"I am delighted to put pen to paper after an uncertain few weeks. I haven't played a lot of football in the six years I have been here, but once Wolves said that they wanted me to stay then there was no decision to make." Ndah told the clubs official website.

"Glenn [Hoddle] is one of the main reasons that I decided to stay - along with the support from the fans. He has been fantastic. I am excited by the style of football that he wants to play and I can't wait to get out there again with the boys, in front of a full house."

Some supporters may frown upon the decision to give a man who has played just 44 times in six years a new contract (scoring 14 goals), but Glenn Hoddle believes he has made the right decision.

"I am delighted George has re-signed because we have been looking for a certain type of player for the system we want to play here and we had one under our noses." Said Hoddle.

  "I've seen enough of George in training to suggest he can be a big influence. He is due some good luck and I think we can benefit from that. I really think he can be a big asset to us."
