Wolves ready to sell Miller to Sunderland

WOLVES Chief Executive Jez Moxey has confirmed that Wolves are waiting for Sunderland to make an improved bid for Kenny Miller. Sunderland have already had one bid turned down. New Page 1 New Page 2 New Page 1

Wolves turned down a £1.2M bid for the Scottish International striker on Wednesday from newly promoted Sunderland claiming that Wolves would rather Miller score 20 goals next season and go on a free at the end of the season than sell for below Wolves valuation of the player.

However today Wolves have confirmed that they are willing to sell Miller, but only if the price is right. "We would be prepared to sell Kenny but only at a price that would enable the manager to buy someone else." Chief Executive Jez Moxey told the clubs official website.

"We have put a value on the player and we have communicated that to Sunderland, to Kenny and his agent."

Miller scored 20 goals last season and is currently preparing for Scotland's World Cup Qualifier with Moldova at the weekend.
