This time last year Wolves Fans had taken over Cardiff. "It was the most noise we had ever heard from fans inside the stadium" said the Millennium Stadium safety officer in a letter to the club a few days after the celebrations had died down.

Wolves had torn Sheffield United apart and goals from Mark Kennedy, Nathan Blake and Kenny Miller had put Sheffield United beyond sight in a thrilling display of attacking football.

Man of the match Matt Murray did his bit in the second half by making a series of fantastic saves including a penalty from now spurs man Michael Brown.

It was Dave Jones who took us there but we have now all moved on. Next season will all be about Wolves and Glenn Hoddle whilst Cardiff - who celebrated victory at the Millennium Stadium one day prior to Wolves - have moved on with Dave Jones. We wish him well.
