WOLVERHAMPTON Wanderers have unveiled a shirt with the picture of murdered Wolves Fan Stephen Smith at Molineux in a tribute to his memory.
Stephen
Smith was stabbed and killed whilst out celebrating England's Euro 2004 victory
over Croatia in Portugal last summer. The incident was not Football
related.
The family and friends of Stephen (left) - who's ashes were scattered at Molineux - have raised an incredible £26,500 in memory of their son and the money will be used for new equipment at Wolverhamptons New Cross Hospital.
A shirt donning the picture of the former season ticket holder has been signed by the Wolves squad, including boss Glenn Hoddle and will be displayed inside Molineux.
Stephens farther, John, told the E&S "It really does mean a lot, Stephen loved the place and his ashes were even scattered there".
The England side wore black armband in their following game as a mark of respect.
