WOLVES boss Glenn Hoddle wants Henri Camara to return to Molineux. The player is currently preparing to return to Molineux after his loan with Southampton ends.

Camara, dubbed "the rat" by the Wolves faithful for his antics during last summer is due to return to Molineux after his loan period with Southampton is due to end.

Wolves have accumulated record fee's for the loaning out of the player who ended up at St Mary's via Scottish giants Celtic.

Wolves Chief Executive Jez Moxey had claimed Wolves were in "Selling mode" when it came to Camara and said that he would be sold to the highest bidder.

However Wolves boss Glenn Hoddle - who signed a new contract at Molineux yesterday - has different ideas and would like to see the player next season.

"I would see it as a positive step to bring everyone back into the nest. But I am aware that things went on before I came here." Hoddle told the Wolves Official Website.

  "I would relish bringing the lad back but he would have to want to come. I'm open minded about it and the door is open to him. He's a good player and was a good buy. I think I could make him better."

Camara's notorious agent Willie McKay recently said that Henri Camara would be prepared to return to Molineux in the summer and Hoddle doesn't believe the fans reaction to him would be too much of a problem.

He added "I'm sure there would be some (ill) feeling towards him from the fans but a couple of goals might change that."
