Ricketts Wants Wolves Move

DESPITE interest from Leeds United and Reading, on loan Wolves star Rohan Ricketts has said he would love to stay at Molineux, especially if Hoddle is in charge next season. New Page 1

Reports today suggest that the current Spurs winger is being hunted by Leeds United and Reading but Ricketts has pledged that he wouldn't "have to think twice" about signing on a permanent basis at Molineux.

“I have thought about next season but in football you can never be 100 per cent sure what will happen,” Ricketts told the Express and Star.

“We don’t know if the manager will be here or not, but if he is it would certainly be a big boost for me and if  he (Hoddle) wants me I don’t think I would have to think twice about coming here,”

“I like the formation, I love the freedom which allows me to roam around and there’s also a good bunch of lads here who I get on well with.”

Ricketts made just his second start in Wolves colours at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday and he capped off a fine performance by scoring the winner.
