INJURY hit Wolves travel to Madejski Stadium on Saturday, the home of Reading who are vying for a Play-Off place. Can Wolves throw a large spanner in the works for the Royals?

Let's face it, Reading don't get on with Wolves. We mean the Fans obviously, Wolves chairman Sir Jack Hayward and Reading chief John Madejski are best of mates, but for some reason, the Royals' fans have something against the old gold and black.

We're not so sure why and can only assume it's because Wolves have beaten The Royals on the last three occasions. 4-1 was the score at Molineux whilst prior to that an Alex Rae goal lead Wolves to a Cardiff Play-Off final on a happy night in May 2003.

"You'll be back again next year" was the chant from the Reading fans that night - they were wrong. However this is 2005 and Reading still have a chance of scraping into the play-offs by the skin of their teeth.

They won't win the play-offs of course, but the game on Saturday is probably the biggest for the Royals so far this season, but it's not exactly the best time to play Wolves at the moment.

One defeat in 24 games and undefeated in the last 16 is a run Wolves head to the South in, but Wolves could be without several key players.

Two of the three Player of the season candidates in Naylor and Ince are doubts whilst Carl Cort, Keith Andrews, Mark Kennedy and Vio Ganea are all definitely out.

It's a big game for Reading and a game which doesn't matter for Wolves. Next season will be Wolves year after this nasty campaign, but damaging Reading's hopes of reaching the play-offs is still very much on the agenda.
