WOLVERHAMPTON Wanderers have brought contract talks with Glenn Hoddle forward and will discuss the situation with the current boss this week. New Page 1

It had previously been agreed that not discussions on the future of Glenn Hoddle would be made until the end of the season, however with a play-off spot now a mathematical impossibility, Jez Moxey has confirmed that they will be speaking to the former England Boss this week.

Hoddle had told the media last week that, although a play-off spot was not going to achieved, he still wanted to hold the talks until the end of the season, however Moxey appears to have different ideas.

Speaking to the clubs official website, Jez Moxey said "the play-offs are now mathematically beyond us and so although we are in day-to-day contact and have agreed on certain things for the future, such as our pre-season programme, we think the time is about right to start engaging him in the specific conversations about where both he and the club go from here."

It is unknown whether Hoddle will commit to talks this early or whether his intention is to stay at Molineux for next season, however if his future lies elsewhere, Wolves could finish this campaign with another man at the helm.
