WOLVES boss Glenn Hoddle wants to wait until the end of the season until he starts contract talks, despite the best efforts by Jez Moxey to move the talks forward. New Page 1

Wolves and Hoddle had previously agreed that contract talks would not take place until the end of the season, but with nothing to play for, Wolves chief Executive Jez Moxey believes it's right to bring the talks forward.

However boss Glenn Hoddle is not so keen on the idea and would prefer to concentrate on the meaningless final four games of this, the poorest of seasons.

"I know he [Moxey] wants to bring those talks forward a bit but at the moment I'm concentrating on football matters" said Hoddle.

The good news however is that Hoddle has at least confirmed talks take place. However these are more likely to take place at the end of the season.

"Whether we start our talks a tad before the end of the season or a couple of weeks after is immaterial - but we will be talking."
