I'll Stay Another Season, Says Ince

WOLVES skipper Paul Ince has today said that he would love to stay on at Molineux, especially if former England boss Hoddle is still in charge. New Page 1

Ince (pictured) had previously said that this season would be his last, but after becoming a vital part of the team, the former England captain has said he would love to stay on.

Ince was reported by The Mirror to be looking at taking over Hoddle's job in the Summer, a story Ince has been very quick to rubbish.

"I was very disappointed by the reports. I'm 100% behind the gaffer and I want to play for him." the Wolves captain told the BBC.

"It was a bit disappointing and a bit upsetting to see that kind of rubbish on the back of the papers, but me and the gaffer are big enough and we know it's someone trying to be mischievous." 

Ince was persuaded to stay on at the end of the 2003/04 season and was adamant that the 04/05 season would be his last. However after becoming such a vital part of the side, Ince has said he would love to stay on at Molineux, especially if Hoddle was still the manager.

"Hopefully, if I can keep playing the way I am, I can play for him [Hoddle] next year if he's asked to stay." said Ince.
