NEWSPAPER Reports today suggest that Wolves' boss Glenn Hoddle has attempted to sign three of Arsenal's young defenders on loan for the remainder of the season.

Hoddle has made it clear he feels he needs to strengthen the defence and has targeted three of Arsenal's youngsters to make the trip North to Molineux.

It appears the proposed deal to bring Czech defender Adam Petrous has fallen through and Newspapers today claim Hoddle is looking to sign 20 year old Justin Hoyte, Frankie Simek and 21 year old Ryan Garry.

Defender Hoyte, 20, made his debut for the Gunners in May 2003 in Arsenal's 6-1 home win over Southampton. The 5'11 defender has made eleven appearances this season and most recently featured during Bolton's shock 1-0 win over Arsenal in mid-January.

20 year old American defender Frankie Simek has spent part of this season away on loan at QPR and played at Molineux when Wolves beat the hoops 2-1 back in October. The 6'0 defender has only played for Arsenal once and that was during the 5-1 demolition of Wolves in the Carling Cup in December 2003.

The final defender Hoddle is reportedly after is Ryan Garry. The Hornchurch born defender is yet to feature for Arsenal, despite being the oldest of Hoddle's trio at 21.

Wenger is believed to be interested in releasing Garry and Simek on loan but may be less interested in releasing Hoyte who has played and impressed for Arsenal this term.
